Worked as a dog bather at Judy's Grooming, a small business in Leander TX. I was responsible for the back of the shop, meaning I bathed, dried, and did whatever necessary to prepare each dog for their groom. I also learned to watch for signs that the dogs were in need of particular attention, such as needing to go out for a walk. I worked two summers in this position. The following summer, I was a live-in house/dog sitter for one of my professors. She entrusted her dog and home to my care while traveling abroad for several months. I believe that the responsibilities given to me by both the owner of the groom shop and the professor have prepared me to to be a reliable caregiver for your animals, as well. I can't wait to meet them!
