About Rachel

I've taken care of children most of my life. I started babysitting during junior high and have been doing so ever since. I've worked with children with alternate abilities and engaged in educational care for various schools. I am a certified K-8 teacher and have my first aid and CPR certificate. I love fun. I love to craft and create. I'm also friendly and intuitive. I love people and notice when things are "off" somehow. This often helps address things before they become a problem. I like working with kids because they're always learning, and their creativity is inspiring! They teach me not to take life so seriously, and everyone needs that lesson. I'm looking for a job that will be flexible and allow my 5-year-old son to tag along. With child care, he's a built-in playmate for the kiddos I might be taking care of.
