About Rachel

I began work as a caretaker for littles back when I started working as a church nursery volunteer as a teenager. Since then, I have worked in two daycares and a preschool where I primarily worked with the 0-3 age range. I worked in an infant room in 2020 and 2021, as a nanny for toddlers in 2021 and 2022, and as a1-year-old room preschool teacher in early 2023, right after I graduated Florida Southern College. I have taken training courses in early childhood development and received my CPR certification. I love finding what excites each child, and I encourage exploration and active play as much as possible. I love encouraging early literacy through books, creativity through art projects and motor skills with dance and music. I am a big believer in learning through play, both structured and unstructured. In my free time I like to read, listen to music, go on walks, and bake for my friends!
