About Rachel

Hello! My name is Rachel, working with kids is one of my greatest passions. I take great joy in supporting them as they develop their sense of curiosity, confidence, and creativity--through play! I have 10 years experience working with pre k-high school students in arts integrated settings, as well as outdoor learning! I've worked as a teaching artist and director in theatre, music, storytelling, writing, actor coaching and improv in public schools, arts schools, and private tutor settings. I also have a French degree, and know basic Spanish. I have anti-racist training, active bystander training, and have written lgbtq+ inclusive curriculum and policies for art schools. Prior to my 10 years experience I babysat extensively, have been trained in CPR and first aid, and was a lifeguard and state ranked competitive swimmer. I'm very active and strong, love to bicycle, rock climb, and play in the park! If your kids are interested I also play guitar, piano and ukulele!
