About Rachel

Hi! I'm Rachel and I'm a student at Sarah Lawrence College. I've been working with children for almost five years and have worked as a part-time nanny for three different families. My other childcare experience has included teaching swim lessons to children ages 2-10, as well as working as a one-on-one aide to young kids with autism at a summer camp. Through my personal and professional experiences with children, as well as my coursework in child development and psychology, I have developed a strong passion for providing care and support to kids of all ages. I am calm-natured but firm when needed, and am often quick to build connections with children. I always aim to provide a fun and safe space for kids to grow and learn while also helping out the family as a whole with whatever is needed. I am currently looking for a full or part time position.
