About Rachel

Hi! I'm Rachel and I'm a recent graduate of Sarah Lawrence College. I earned my BA in liberal arts with concentrations in psychology and child development. I have worked with children for over six years and have nannied for three families, including working as a direct support professional for a child with autism. I am passionate about providing care to kids of all ages and backgrounds, as well as supporting the family as a whole. I am calm-natured but firm when needed, and am quick to build connections with children. I always aim to provide a fun and safe space for kids to grow and learn while implementing appropriate child care practices. In my free time I enjoy travelling, yoga, and reading! I am currently looking for a part time or full time position and am able to commit for at least 18 months. My hourly rate is $25 for one child.
