Hi, I'm Rachel! I earned my Bachelor's in Elementary Education in 2014 and have been in the teaching/childcare world ever since (and some before too)! I will work on developmental milestones with your child and facilitate educational play. I enjoy everything outdoors and try to incorporate that into my care as much as possible. Currently, I am available to work for families with 1 child, possibly 2 depending on ages. I hope to provide care in my own home, to be able to stay home with my own 2 children. However, I'm willing to work outside my home depending on the schedule. I have some availability now, but more availability starting November 2025. Availability listed in profile is flexible. There are simply not enough words that would accurately describe this perfect human that we know as RachO. Rachel started with us 6 years ago when my second son was born. We knew he had some health challenges but had no idea what was ahead of us. Rachel so willingly helped us nanny and care for our children during what was one of the hardest times in our lives. She thought she was signing up for a nanny job and quickly learned to be a full time nurse and caregiver to our non mobile, non verbal, gbutton fed, medically complex, immune compromised, sweet baby boy, while still managing to care for now our other two kids all with a smile on her face. Rachel is one of the most dependable people I know. She has only called in sick twice in the 6 years she has worked for us. Rachel used to be a teacher so helped teach my eldest to read, write and encouraged a healthy relationship with learning. She loves to take the kids on adventures and explore outside. As a parent of three I couldn’t imagine a more perfect human to care for my children! I adore her and we consider her part of our family!
