Hey, my name is Rachel! It's lovely to e-meet you & I am excited to be here! Currently, I'm an event planner, but before this life I spent 2021 nannying for a 3-month and 3yr old. I actually still babysit for them occasionally as well! I am looking for a part-time or full time position to start February 2025. As I am looking to take some time off from the event world. A little bit about me, I have experience working with children ages 0-12 and have spent time in both public and private schools. I worked in the after school program for AISD and then went on to work in a Montessori school where I assisted in every classrooms as needed from newborns one day to elementary school children the next and every age in between. My nannying approach is a mix of gentle parenting and Montessori. I prefer not to have screen time during the day and like to stick to a daily routine. Stimulating activities are important for every age and I like to incorporate a mix of them into each day.

We miss her so much! She cared for my baby and my coworker's toddler as we navigated remote work with our agency, and as I navigated working period, after returning from maternity leave. She did lots of activities with them, was dependable, very helpful around the house, and was comfortable with the dogs at each of our houses. I trusted her with everything, and she was the first person I ever left my baby with. She was structured and trained in Montessori methods, and she helped my baby as he developed to learn new skills. I would definitely recommend her!
