Hi! My name is Rachel! I would love to babysit your little ones for date night or the weekend. I'm currently an event planner for a catering company and before I started this position I spent most of 2021 nannying for a 3month and 3yr old. Additionally, I have experience working with children from ages 0-12. In undergrad I worked at an after school program with 1st - 5th graders and in the summer I taught and art class to second and third graders. After college I spent a year working at a Montessori school where I worked in every classroom from newborns to 9-year-olds. I was the office assistant but that also included subbing in the classrooms when teachers were out. I spent a lot of time with all of the ages, and really learned the teaching methods of Montessori. We miss her so much! She cared for my baby and my coworker's toddler as we navigated remote work with our agency, and as I navigated working period, after returning from maternity leave. She did lots of activities with them, was dependable, very helpful around the house, and was comfortable with the dogs at each of our houses. I trusted her with everything, and she was the first person I ever left my baby with. She was structured and trained in Montessori methods, and she helped my baby as he developed to learn new skills. I would definitely recommend her!
