I have been a dog lover my entire life. I grew up with a rambunctious black lab and later my family adopted a cavalier king charles spaniel (who was the first love of my life). I adopted a shih-tzu terrier mix about 6. 5 years ago, who is the current love of my life. I enjoy taking him on walks on the greenbelt and the strand, as well as to the dog park and occasionally the beach. For two years, while in college, I volunteered at the local, no-kill shelter (SPCA of Tompkins County - Ithaca, NY). My responsibilities included socializing the dogs, feeding them, taking them for walks, and cleaning their kennels. Most of the dogs at the shelters were mixed breeds and pit bulls, so I'm comfortable working with dogs of all breeds and sizes. I recently started volunteering with West LA Animal Animal shelter. It would be an honor to be trusted with taking care of your dog/s.
