About Rachel

Hello families! My name is Rachel, I am an NJ transplant working on my Masters in Social Work at UPenn. I have 8 years of child care experience in a variety of formats- 6 years of camp counseling, 5 of babysitting, and 2 years of teaching high school English. I taught at a therapeutic boarding school serving teens of all manner of diagnoses and behaviors: ADHD, anxiety, depression, BPD, ODD, dyslexia, bipolar, trauma/PTSD etc. I am experienced with ages 2 through high school. I believe in building relationships with children relies on providing security, safety, and fun. I want to get to know your child and family and help nurture them to be their best self. I am happy to work with both Neurotypical & Neurodivergent children! I love crafts, exploring, and laughing. Each family's needs are unique, and I am excited to hear how I can fit into your childcare plan. References available upon request. I am only available during evenings during the week (after 6:30) and weekends.
