I have said for years that parents of general education kids don't have enough support, and when you have one or more neurodivergent children, that struggle is even more so. My experience through the years has taught me how to provide compassionate care to kids with diverse needs including those on the spectrum for years (primarily play therapy). I am familiar with communication devices, picky eaters, and diverse sensory needs. I use the child's interests to non-obtrusively connect with them during play. I've mostly done in-home therapy, but I am very familiar with daycare centers, schools, and many other settings. I'm familiar with Touch2Talk and LAMP programs.
