About Rachel

Hello, my name is Rachel, and I am a trustworthy and nurturing 21-year-old. I am studying for my Early Childhood Education degree. I have worked in child care for over six years, working with children ranging in age from newborn to 15. I have babysat/nannied, worked as an after-school teacher for the District of Columbia Public Schools, and was a summer CIT at a church camp. I am CPR and first aid certified. I can help with homework, cooking, cleaning, and transportation. My focus is giving your child a safe, routine-focused, and creative space to learn and grow into a wonderful person. I love doing seasonal crafts, baking, pretend play, promoting independent time, and special weekly outings when appropriate. I am firm but kind and will work with you on any challenges your child may exhibit. I adore working with kids because they offer a unique and refreshing perspective on the world, reminding adults to enjoy everyday beauty and view the world with wonder and openness.
