Ever since my grandfather was diagnosed with dementia when I was a teenager, I became passionate about wanting to serve my elders and those with dementia. Since then, I've had a handful of jobs working in a position geared toward helping elders with their activities of daily living, providing companionship and comfort, and organizing and leading activities.
