I am a mother of 5(all grown) and grandmother of 11. I am a conservative, old-fashioned Christian who believes in clean living, creative learning opportunities and nutritious eating. I was formerly a food service employee and the a teacher in the Head Start program, working with 4-5-year-olds everyday, teaching, caring for them, observing, following extremely strict federal guidelines for this job. I care for my grandchildren when needed from age newborn through 9 years old. I am the Welcome Team director at our church where I teach bible studies and work with the youth groups. I own my own at home business making little girl's clothing (The Rose Tattoo) at my convenience. I am an avid reader and gardener and teach baking classes. I would provide a warm, safe, nurturing environment. I am especially interested in child care for school age children for days when school is out and parents have to work or when children are sick and need a place to stay.
