About Rachel

I've grown up doing odd babysitting jobs and volunteering as an Awana club leader, but the most valuable experience I've had working with children was the 3 summers I spent as an Auburn Swim Camp Counselor during college. Through this experience I not only got to be a coach, but also a mentor and chaperone to amazing kids ages 9-18. I also have three beautiful nieces and one nephew all ranging in ages from 1 month to 6 years old that I love to babysit and play with. As for my life outside of childcare, I love to cook, garden, blog, craft, and exercise. I got my bachelor's degree in nutrition/wellness from Auburn University, and am currently on my way to becoming a Registered Dietitian through the University of Georgia. I am organized and tidy, and I don't mind doing laundry, grocery shopping, cooking, or any chores that need doing around the house. I adore animals, and I believe in living life to the absolute fullest and enjoying each and every day.
