About Rachel

My love and passion for animals and animal care began as a child. My parents were dog breeders, focusing on specific breeds to ensure healthy, happy animals. I assisted in this much of my childhood because I loved working with and being around the dogs. We didn't just have dogs, however. Our home was often lovingly referred to as The Zoo. Cats, hamsters, rabbits, and fish all also called our home their own as well. This experience was the launching pad to my dedication to animal welfare that would follow me throughout life. I have gone on to work for multiple rescues, volunteer in zoos, assist in fostering, assist in veterinary settings, dog and cat sit for friends, family, and neighbors, and even work in dog grooming salons and training. I love animals, and would be honored to love and care for your furry family member!
