About Rachel

My goal as a caregiver is to care for, guide, instruct, protect, and teach children. I am willing to do housekeeping that includes helping children clean their rooms, clean play area, and laundry. If I had to describe myself in five adjectives I would say that I am caring, loving, committed, responsible, and diligent. As a pediatric occupational therapist I administer individual assessments of fine motor, oral motor development, sensory integration and consult with other staff and the child's care givers. Working with family members and care givers to help children reach their full potential and incorporate strategies into their daily routines. Previous to working as a occupational therapist I was an ABA Developmental Therapist for four years working with many special needs children often implementing weekly behavioral and learning programs at either home or clinic setting while creating a fun, motivating experience to generate the highest level of performance for each individual.
