About Rachel

As I turned 34 today, some friends asked if I wanted to go out and celebrate. The thought of it alone exhausted me! But I am a social creature and would love a night of conversation and laughs... Suddenly it occurred to me... how much would an elderly person, with friends literally dying all around them and their family working tirelessly to provide, love to simply spend time with a friend? I could be that friend! Though my caregiving so far has been limited to youth, I have extensive experience caring for my teenage brother (in diapers, non verbal) and am surely up to any physical task or individual caretaking need an adult could require. I am strong and can lift 180 pounds easily. I would love to listen to stories most haven't time for, or serenade with live classical music someone who saw music history in ways I couldn't have. I truly believe this might be my calling, and I am happy to do a trial first for your comfort. Thank you for considering!
