About Rachel

I started caring for animals at a very young age, and took over primary responsibilities of my pets around age 11. Throughout my life I've cared for birds, hamsters, rats, lizards, bunnies, dogs (big and small, energetic and laid back), cats, and even some farm animals like goats, chickens, and ducks. Caring for animals is one of my greatest joys, and I'm eager to share my love for animals with your pet-kin! I'd describe my personality as passionate, genuine, and warm! I really enjoy connecting with others, whether that be people, animals, plants, mushrooms. I'm a farmer and studying herbal medicine in school which has helped me cultivate compassion, patience, and curiosity for the world around me. I'd describe myself as primarily introverted; this is why I really love being with animals because their presence allows me to feel connected without the pressures that socializing sometimes can have. I'd add that I do really enjoy socializing, but in small doses!
