I'm Rachel, I love this quote by Albert Einstein, and as a teacher I want to be able to recognize when a student is a fish and not judge them as a monkey. I completed my elementary licensure program through the University of Utah and received a degree in Human Development and Family Studies with an emphasis on Early Childhood Education. I have taught Kindergarten at Lincoln Elementary in Granite School District. I finished my student teaching in a second grade classroom at Copperhill s Elementary. I also completed an early childhood internship in a kindergarten classroom at the University of Utah's Child and family center. In addition to my student teaching I have practical experience assisting a licensed speech pathologist, social worker and behavioral therapist helping special needs children with their social skills.

Rachel has worked for us for almost two years. She is AMAZING! She works well with our son and we are so grateful for her professional attitude and ability to be flexible and fun with a child who has learning disabilities. She has taken the curriculum and added to it to best help our son. She goes above and beyond our expectations. She has such a great personality, she fits right in to our family. We feel incredibly lucky to have found her. She is THE BEST!
