My name is Rachel and I have over 12 years of experience working with children in a wide variety of settings, including Montessori classrooms, summer camps, aftercare programs, and as a full-time professional nanny. My approach is playful, fun, patient, and based on a deep respect for the individual child's needs. I have extensive experience in early childhood and am fascinated by this unique and powerful stage in child development. Currently, I work with with 2 families who I've been with for a number of years. The children are now elementary age, so I help with school drop-offs and after school care. Sigh. Rachel is the best nanny we have had. She has been with our four year old at least twice a week for 6 months. She is so responsible. Always shows up, present to your child’s needs and intentional about bringing her best self to her time with your child. She is calm and patient and able to be silly and playful. She engages & encourages your child while making sure she is eating and drinking water and being safe. Her communication is always clear and consistent. You can truly count on her.
