About Rachelle

During my time at college, I worked at the campus children's center and provided in-home care for 4 years, and continued in-home occasional babysitting for a year after. I am comfortable working with 1-3 children, ranging of all ages. I have much experience with 3mo-6yrs. I would describe myself as engaged, joyful, patient, caring, encouraging independence and autonomy. My style of care: promoting curiosity, critical thinking, emotional and social development, self-autonomy/boundaries, and connection with our environment. Activities I enjoy: arts and craft, games, listening to music and dancing, reading, and engaging with our environment. I am looking for full-time work right now, and will be attending school in September which will require me moving to part-time. I am finishing school to get my degree in Psychology, and plan to pursue grad school in order to become a licensed therapist, primarily for children/adolescents.
