I completed my master's in early childhood special education in 2021. Prior to that, I worked at United Ability Early Learning Center for children ages 6 weeks to 5 years old with disabilities. I loved every moment of it and worked there for 2 years! I have been lucky to have worked as a K-4th grade self-contained teacher for students with intellectual disabilities and nonverbal autism for 2 years. There is nothing I love more than spending time playing and learning with the kiddos, but I am also able to assist with basic care needs. I am also familiar with challenging behaviors and finding communication methods to help a child out of a meltdown.
