About Rachel

As a nanny to 3 different families, I've dedicated the last 21 years to caring for children of various ages from newborn to 18. I was placed by the professional nanny agency Safe and Sound Nannies for my previous family. I'm known for proactively engaging children in educational and fun play, creativity, nourishing meals and promoting mutual respect between the children parents and myself as the parents support. My approach to communication with parents involves verbal updates during pickup, regular text or phone call updates, and adapting to the parents' preferred communication style. I believe in following the parents' lead when it comes to enforcing household rules, ensuring consistency and respect for their parenting style. I enjoy engaging children in a variety of games, from outdoor sports and physical games to board games and educational fun to promote learning. My experience allows me to comfortably care for up to four children, and I'm certified in CPR and First Aid.
