Hi families! My name is Rachel, and I just recently moved out to the West Bloomfield area. I, sadly, had to leave the wonderful family I had been working for back in Grand Rapids. I am now on the search for another full time position in childcare. I have many years of experience, and I cannot wait to connect in the future! I like to keep kids actively engaged through play and sensory experiences. I think it is important for kids to be able to spend most of their time engaged in play, because not only is it fun - play can be a wonderful way to teach kids about the world. I also enjoy giving children new experiences, I would love to take your kids on adventures to the park, the library, the zoo, or whatever else they would enjoy the most. We love Rachel! She cared for our 2 & 5 year old kids for one year. She’s fun, warm and communicates openly. Our children felt physically and emotionally safe with her. She’s great at keeping kids entertained in and outdoors. She’d still be with us if she hadn’t moved. You’ll be happy you hired her!
