About Rachel
I am currently working as a Patient Safety Attendant at Borgess Ascension hospital. Some of my absolute favorite patients have been elderly patients recovering from major surgeries, illnesses, or accidents. My job is to specifically make sure high risk patients are cared for, safe, and kept company when the nurses are not in the room. Although every shift brings something different, the best part of my job is investing in the lives of those I am watching, getting to know them personally, and through care, showing them how important and special they are.
