About Rachel

I'm an experienced childcare provider with a passion for nurturing and educating children. My goal is to pursue a PhD in early child therapy, and I believe that working as a childcare provider is a perfect stepping stone to gain hands-on experience in child development. I have two years of experience caring for children of various age groups, from infants to preteens. I'm comfortable enforcing household rules and have a knack for communicating effectively with parents about their child's day or any issues that arise. I prefer to send written daily reports and follow the parents' preferred communication method. My creative and imaginative nature allows me to engage children in a variety of fun and educational activities. I enjoy playing outdoor sports and physical games, board games and puzzles, and educational games that promote learning. I'm also comfortable with pets. I have a college degree and am CPR and First Aid certified.
