About Rachel

I'd describe my personality as positive, empathetic, and genuine. I love teaching and working with kids because they have unique life perspectives and personalities. As a first grade teacher, I have found that every child is completely unique. They are a joy to teach and learn from! I'm looking for a job where I can help your family with childcare, homework help, and light housework and/or pet care. I started working with kids when I was a teenager. I started with babysitting and moved on to after school programs and summer camps. I moved up into Instructional Assistant positions in kindergarten and first grade, substitute teaching, and now full time first grade teaching. In my spare time, I like to hike, work out, cook, and spend time with friends! One thing you should know about me is that I connect with others quickly and will always find a commonality with anyone I meet. My skills include teaching, conflict resolution, and entertaining!
