Hi there! My name is Rachel, and I am a special education teacher in the suburbs of Chicago! I received my Bachelors degree in Special Education LBSI from Illinois State University in May of 2021. I currently teach at a transition program, teaching individuals with a wide range of disabilities who range from 18-22 years old. I have experience supporting a wide range of unique needs. I am very familiar with a variety of communication styles and AAC devices. I am CPR certified. I am very passionate about teaching, supporting, advocating for, and learning from my students with disabilities. I am hoping to provide support this summer to an individual and their family!
