Hello, my names Rachel and I am a fully credentialed teacher with a master's degree in education with an emphasis on mathematics! I have over 10 years of nannying experience and 4 years of teaching experience in Newport Beach, California. I started as a reading intervention specialist and then taught first grade for three years. My strong suit is teaching early phonemic awareness and reading, as well as math. However, I have worked with students grades K-6 teaching various subject matter. This year, I am looking to find a family, or a few, who are either looking for support home schooling their children or with after school tutoring help. I am open to tutoring at your home, my home, or a local public library. I am also open to group sessions for tutoring children of the same age and/or ability. I am really looking forward to hearing from you! :)

Rachel is AMAZING! Always on time and kids always had a blast with her! She is fun, yet knows how to be firm when needed, (something my daughter needs)! She is very creative and full of energy to keep up with my kids who are nonstop from the time they wake up to the time they go to bed! I would recommend Rachel to anyone!
