Hello, I am an 8th year first grade teacher for the NYC public school system. I tutor students in pre-k through fifth grade and have some availability. I have previously been a nanny. I have degrees in early childhood and childhood education, literacy, and special education. I have a passion for the science of reading and teaching reading based on how the brain works. Therefore, I am trained to work with students with dyslexia, ADHD, and other learning related disorders. I am based on the UES and have some evening availability, as well as the summer. I am interested in having a spring break phonics intensive where I work with a small group of students to boost grades before hold over decisions are made/ just for enrichment!
