About Rachel

I've recently relocated to Gainesville and I'm looking to support families by providing reliable childcare on a part-time basis! While I've never been employed in a formal childcare role, I have almost 10 years of experience babysitting children of all ages, caring for my nieces, and 3 years of youth ministry experience. I'm friendly, responsible, and always want to communicate effectively with parents about their child's day. I follow parents' preferred communication method and take their lead when it comes to enforcing household rules. I enjoy playing a variety of games with children, both educational and recreational. Some favorites include outdoor sports, board games, and puzzles. I graduated from the University of Florida in 2020 with a Bachelor's degree in Family, Youth, and Community Sciences. I'm willing to help with meal prep, housekeeping tasks, caring for pets, and/or running errands. I look forward to the opportunity to get to know you and your family!
