I have almost 10 years of experience working with children, most of which have been as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) working directly with children with developmental disabilities (including but not limited to diagnoses on the autism spectrum, down syndrome, and ADHD) and physical disabilities (including but not limited to limb discrepancies, cerebral palsy, prosthetics, and spinal injuries). I believe that creativity is one of the most beautiful & enriching aspects of the human mind and try whenever possible to foster an environment that encourages children to be creative whenever possible through music, pretend play, writing, and art. I most recently worked in an elementary school, specifically in an intensive interventions classroom, and am more than willing to help with any kind of homework, distance learning, or tutoring. I am also willing to help with housework, pet care, cooking, errands, and transportation to and from school/appointments if necessary.
