About Rachel

I love animals! I have 2 rabbits and have experience with dogs. I have a Bachelor in Science, Social Work, with specific interest towards child welfare. I have many years as a babysitter starting when I was 14, in a church nursery. My faith in God is something very important to me. I have recently returned from living in different parts of Peru for over six and a half years. I was working in a ministry that I cared for abandoned children before they were adopted or placed in a governmental institution due to adoption rules. Later I have taught English for 3 years while overseas. I am able to converse in Spanish, yet my first language is English because I grew up in Minnesota. I love wildlife, I grew up on a lake and loved being around all the animals. My parents introduced me to all types of animals growing up but the very first pet I ever had of my own was a rabbit. I fell in love. My two rabbits are like my own children. I care deeply for them and I would treat your pets like my own
