About Rachel D

I have over 10 years of experience as a summer camp director, classroom teacher, outdoor educator, Pre-K teacher, and working with kids of differing abilities and ages. I have worked predominantly with kids aged 2 - 12 for the past seven years, and for the past three I was the Summer Camp director at Growing Gardens - you may know me from there! I am well versed in communication strategies and restorative practices, and have over 100 hours of professional development training in various areas for education. I can help with education, extracurricular activities, personal development, cooking, cleaning, games, and more! I am a great cook, and able to work with different dietary needs. I have reliable transportation, and a positive attitude for this work. I love kids and learning and growing with them. I am bilingual (english/spanish) and CPR ceritified. My interests are in gardening, herbalism, live music, camping, hiking, and foraging!
