About Rachel

I'd describe my personality as bubbly, laidback, communicative. I like working with kids because kids are the best. I love to help them grown and learn the world around them. I'm looking for a job that is consistent, in West Des Moines (near home), and allows me to grow. I started working with kids when I was in high school, I worked at an after care program, then in college I continued this part time while I was getting my elementary education degree. I then went on to teach special education in Des Moines for 6 years. I am looking for something a little less stressful while I grow to learn what I want to do long term. In my spare time, I like to take my dogs for walks, read, clean, go to movies, volunteer, help others, do puzzles, color. One thing you should know about me is I provide very high quality care for families, I have a ton of quality experience and want to Nanny for a family that values quality care.
