About Rachel

I'd describe myself as patient, energetic, and compassionate. Working with kids brings me joy because their curiosity and creativity are contagious. For me, childcare is not just a job, it's an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in their lives by providing a safe and engaging environment. I believe it is SO important to build their minds with hands on play and encourage critical thinking, at any age. My journey in childcare began at 12 as a private piano teacher and 13 as a babysitter. Over the past 17 years, I have continued both endeavors. Some other roles include serving in church as the children's program overseer and as a children's program assistant for a prestigious classical music camp. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, baking, adventuring outdoors with my husband, and playing with my kitty, Blue. I'm highly organized, adaptable to each child's needs, and creative in developing activities that stimulate learning while making our time together so much fun!
