About Rachel

I'd describe my personality as fun, energetic, nurturing and kind. I like working with kids because I just love them! I'm a mother myself and it brings me such joy and fulfillment to work with kids. It is an honor and a blessing to be entrusted with the caring, nurturing, and development of another person's child/children. I'm looking for a job that is full time, at least 35-50 hrs a week, schedules are always negotiable though. My specialty is working with children in the age range of infancy through toddlerhood; I'm great at helping to establish routines and the building blocks of early childhood development. I started working with kids when I was 13, I'm now 40 and have a few decades of childcare under my belt. Most recently, I have been nannying for the same family for the past two years; however they are now moving out of state and I am looking for a new family to work with. In my spare time, I love to hang out with my family. I also love to cook, bake and garden.
