About Rachel

I have been working with the elderly for 3, almost 4 years as a Recreation assistant and director at a skilled short term rehab unit. I have also worked in long term care. I am looking to leave my job as a director because a lot of my job is now about paperwork and I want to get back to what I love the most: just taking care of people. I have experience working with residents who have dementia, and was trained by a recreation therapist. I can assist with bathing, meal prep, medication management, driving to appointments, staying active, and overall being a companion and friend. From the many times observing physical therapy and occupational therapy, I can assist your loved one with that as well as various games to keep them busy and their mind sharp. I am very compassionate and will care for your loved one like I would my own grandparents. I look forward to hearing from you about your loved one!
