About Rachel

I have lots of experience working with children ages 5 month to 12 years over the past 10 years. I babysat throughout my undergraduate education for multiple families of all ages. I currently babysit for an amazing family who have a 6-year-old daughter and 4-year-olds twins. I absolutely adore the kids and they've become like my little siblings! In addition, I was a full-time nanny for a family with young daughters over the summer. I worked at a day care center in Midland Park, NJ throughout high school and college. I supervised the 4-year-old summer camp classroom, so I have lots of experience providing a fun and safe environment for children. Throughout the 5 years working at day care, I have watched children ages 5 months during Mom & Me classes to 12 years in open gym. I tutored under-privileged kindergarten and 1st grade children and helped them with homework and reading skills. I have two background clearances from my job that I can send you, and am CPR and first aid certified.

Rachel watched our daughter in our hotel when we were in town for a wedding. She responded to all communications promptly and was great about providing everything we needed to feel comfortable leaving our child with a new person beforehand. The day of the wedding she arrived early, was flexible and understanding when the reception ran late, checked in with us when asked, and took wonderful care of our daughter. If only we lived nearby, we would definitely want to work with her again!
