About Rachel

I worked as an RN in an Emergency Department in a hospital setting for over 25 years. Due to personal reasons, I retired from nursing in the hospital setting but still enjoy in caring for others. I'd describe my personality as positive, upbeat, high energy, and very compassionate. I like caring for seniors because of the respect I have for my parents and grandparents (even though my dad is the only one I have left). I love visiting with seniors (never meet a stranger) and listening to their life stories. I'm looking for a job that respects me as much as I respect them! I started caring for seniors when I graduated nursing school in 1995 and even though I do not work as an RN, I still assist in caring for others. In my spare time, I like to cook, sew, read, play games, or anything that keeps me busy! One thing you should know about me is I also love animals! My family still raises sheep and goats. I have many skills and would love to help!
