About Rachel

I'm a former elementary and special educator. I am passionate about fostering children's growth and development, while also infusing fun and creativity into every day. I'm patient, calm, and friendly, and I communicate openly with parents about their child's day and any issues that arise. I'm also very comfortable enforcing household rules. I have a masters degree in elementary and special education and worked in education for 7 years. I've nannied/babysat ages infant - 14 years old. I have experience tutoring grades 2-7, and mentoring experience for grades 9-12. I'm also Lifeguard, First Aid and CPR/AED certified. I enjoy playing outdoor sports, board games, puzzles, and educational games with children. I'm comfortable caring for up to three children, ranging from infants to preteens. I'm a non-smoker and comfortable with pets. I look forward to meeting you and your family, and I'm excited to help your children learn, grow, and have fun!
