I have experience with individuals of a wide range of ages and ability levels. I was a member of the Peer Assisted Learning Support (PALS) club all 4 years of high school, and held the position of President for 2 years. I worked as a volunteer, and later camp counselor, at Schreiber Pediatric Rehab Center, where I worked with individuals with special needs ages 8-25 as part of the summer camp. I am currently employed as a Support Service Worker through United Cerebral Palsy Central PA, in which I work with a 17-year-old girl who has Down syndrome and autism. We practice activities of daily living as well as socialization in the public setting. I also spent my final year of undergrad working as a Personal Care Aide for a 5-year-old girl with a rare developmental disorder through Easter Seals. This fall, I will be attender Jefferson University to obtain a doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy. Comfortable with meal prep/assistance and ADLs. Please reach out with any other questions!!
