About Rachel

Hello! My name is Rachel and I am originally from Overland Park, KS. I moved to Chicago after graduating from KU in 2013. I worked in sales for almost 10 years and recently left my corporate software sales job to pursue entrepreneurship with my sister and help her launch a handbag brand. I have a lot of family in the city and my childcare over the last couple of years has only been for them. When I was in my 20's I had a couple families in the city I would watch. Most recently, everyone around me is having babies so I have gotten super comfortable around newborns and babies! I grew up next to 4 young boys and started babysitting them when I was around 12 years old. I babysat for multiple families at church. I have experience with infants and all ages of kids. I am comfortable watching multiple children (14 kids one time) infants and special needs children. In high school, I worked with special needs teens and was very active within Special Olympics.
