About Rachael

Hi I'm Rachael! Wife, mother, educator. I have 3 children of my own, but only one is left in the home. The others are grown and living their own lives. I was a public & private school teacher (SpEd & GenEd) for over 10 years before moving here to VA. Now, I homeschool my youngest, teach other homeschoolers once a week, and am very active in the youth program at our church. I nannied and coached youth swimming for 6 years and through college, as well as being the oldest child of 6. So I'm comfortable saying I'm experienced in just about every aspect of childcare and truly love mothering and mentoring to my core. I'm looking to serve families for a variety of needs as long as my 7yr. old can accompany me on day jobs. My husband is a wonderful provider, so this work isn't about the money. I'm personally just looking to expand my horizons and serve outside of my home more frequently. I hope that I will be a good fit and can begin serving your family's needs soon.
