I'd describe my personality as gentle, kind, creative, patient and very silly!! I love working with children We learn from them as they do from us I'm a get on the floor and play kind of person. Love tea parties with raspberry tea, games and any that allow me to use that moment in the best way possible Love crafts or anything the can use to expand and learn I have worked with children who had behavior challenges, autism spectrum disorder, hearing loss, mild to severe language delays and developmental delays as well as typically developing children for 40 years. In my spare time, I like to make jewelry and do other kinds of art, cooking and baking for others, walking, learning I am very patient with children. I don't yell. I'm consistent with consequences. I always prefer to help kids understand the underpinnings of concern about their behavior and why we care. I love kids! All kinds of kids! My skills include positive discipline, structured fun and consistency.
