About Rachael

Hello! My name is Rachael and I am a Registered Nurse and owner of Hugs At Home LLC. A non-medical home care business serving Summit, Stark and Portage counties. I have been an RN for 11 years and have worked in several different areas of nursing, including home care, case management, clinical liaison and nurse navigator. My experience with nearly every patient across the board was the true need for assistance with daily tasks/ADL's and companionship. I consistently found patients and families that were completely exhausted with trying to manage everything and not knowing where to turn to for help. I often had patients or families wanting me to "come back and visit" simply to talk, watch a movie/show or listen as they shared stories with me of their youth. It broke my heart to think of how much these simple efforts meant to those who are in need of assistance.
