About Rachael

Hello! My name is Rachael but I go by my middle name, Leanne. I have over a decade of experience caring for children aged 0-12. Throughout my career, I've served as an infant teacher, VPK teacher, nanny, and afterschool counselor. For the last 5 years, I've worked as a behavior therapist, specializing in children on the autism spectrum. Currently, I'm entering my third trimester of pregnancy and while I adore my work and the children I work with, the physical demands are becoming challenging. As I prepare to welcome my own child, I've decided to take a break from professional work until my little one reaches preschool age. I'm due in late August, and I'm available to work until then, although I'll require a few weeks off after giving birth. Ideally, I'm seeking a position with a family that's open to me bringing my child along during our time together.
