Whether it is smiling at a child at the grocery store or teaching a student in my classroom an unfamiliar task, my passion is to positively impact the lives of the children in my world. With a Bachelor's Degree in Communication Disorders, I have the privilege of providing speech and language therapy for a wonderful group of students as an Assistant-Speech-Language Pathologist. I have experience in taking care of children with special needs. I have worked part-time for a home health agency providing therapy in various environments including individual homes, day cares, women's centers, etc. My full-time and current place of employment is at an elementary school. I believe each child is an unique individual but they all have something in common. They all need somebody to care for them and show them love. So, when parents are away, that is what I will be there for.
