I have been working with an elderly woman one hour a day for about a year now. I help with personal care and cleaning her apartment. She is legally blind so I also help her find ways to make life easier. We participate in a senior fitness program three times a week, I help her with groceries and anything else she might need. The main thing I do is keep her company. I love working with people of any age, I started working with children who have physical disabilities about 10 years ago. Through time, I've found that I love working with seniors just as much. I enjoy helping and teaching. I also enjoy learning from different people.
