About Rachael

Hello, my name is Rachael. Im a creative, positive, and patient individual. I have years of experience babysitting for family members as well as families whose children I have previously cared for at a daycare. I currently work at a center for children with autism. My proficiency in ABA translates to thoughtful and patient childcare with a focus on teaching children basic skills in self-advocacy, conflict resolution, functional communication, freedom of expression, and overall promoting independence. I currently attend undergraduate school in pursuit of a career in elementary education. I have experience caring for youth of all ages, from infancy to school age. In my free time I enjoy painting and spending time outdoors. I am so passionate about integrating art and nature into activities for children! I believe it's important to get messy, but I also encourage children to execute responsibility by cleaning up after themselves. Above all else, I encourage silly goose behavior!
